First Night Saratoga 2012

First Night Saratoga is a New Year’s Eve Celebration presented by Saratoga Arts.  I arrived in town early to get a good parking space, then I headed out to listen to some great local music.

The weather was beautiful for this time of year.  I asked this nice family for a group portrait and they were happy to oblige.

Isabel Irizarry performs live at the Saratoga Olive Oil Company’s window.  She had a beautiful voice and is a very talented, young artist.  I also had the pleasure of meeting her kind and knowledgeable voice-coach Fransesca.

Betsy and The ByeGon’s played music with that 60’s girl-group sound over at the Adirondack Trust Company Bank.

This nice Mother and Daughter had just finished shopping at G. Wilikers, with their beautiful dog.  Now if I could just find some horses my night would be complete!

Umberto Palmeri is an excellent singer and guitarist who hails from Naples, Italy.  As an proud Italian myself, I really enjoyed listening to his fine performance.

Stone Soup played their diverse range of music styles and instruments at the Saratoga Springs Post Office.  Nick could really play that guitar!
