On Sunday, I visited the Saratoga Casino and Raceway to spend an afternoon watching the horses. The weather was warm, and the lighting was less harsh thanks to the overcast skies.
I especially enjoy the slightly comical appearance of the “ear bonnets” worn by some of the horses. These bonnets are helpful with keeping bugs out of the horse’s ears and also helping to reduce noise for easily distracted horses.
